Today (05/03/2016) i completed 16.5 km by cycle my longest distance so far and met with my first ever accident... So here is the story :-)
Milind and i started with our usual loop from Dheeraj upavan to bridge just b before Dahisar toll and back till kulraj broadway and from there to thakur village and back.
But as i had too many breaks in between i asked for another loop in thakur village from the inside road of Dattani .. I was happy as there was very less traffic as road work in progress ..also Saw priya bapat twice๐. and one more artist from movie Yellow.
All was well till i approached road of all banks i.e yes bank and canara etc.. There was a small gap between the road and cement slab. I was cycling with normal speed , thinking about if i can manage the gap and get on to cement road and i was wrong... Cycle stuck between the gap and i sledded over the road for at least 2 feet , flat on my chest. The first contact of my chin to the ground somehow warned me to keep my face up. I stood up . Took deep breaths and realised how hard i fell on my chest.
Meanwhile Milind came back to check on me and there was another gentleman holding my cycle . Pain was bearable but still that guy calling me Aunty.... hurt the most ๐.
I sat down on the stairs near bank ATM and i could experience the phrase , "dolya samor kajave disane" something of that sort.. Eveything in front of me was like overexposed photo ... All white with few objects with border. I guess we waited there for atleast 5/10 mins .. Then i was better. I could feel pain near chin and lip area ..But thankfully with only little swelling. Few scratches on left side of palm.
Milind asked me if i could walk , cycle and i decided to cycle back home with turtle speed.
First thing i asked him as we reached home is how may KM we did and and 16.5 km brought smile to my face๐.
